Lightroom to edit in photoshop (replace sky) and then save and close photoshop. Lightroom blank

Lightroom to edit in photoshop (replace sky) and then save and close photoshop. Lightroom is then blank. Won't open the edited photo back up in lightroom.   

 

Is it because I am missing some updates?   How can I fix this?

Nancy, check out the response in this post: 

Save in PS

The Ps-LrC-Ps should work as long as you Save the file, not Save As. Should...

As an aside, I don't remember whether closing Ps (prematurely?) made a difference.

I have experienced the situation where the Ps-edited file isn't in the Library module where I expected -- somewhere near the original! -- but at the end of the files. Depends on Sorting...
