Mouse Cursor Issues

I got a new MacBook over the weekend, and am trying to use Photoshop 2024, desktop version 25.0.0. When trying to use the healing brush tool, or any tool requiring a brush, I can only see the regular cursor arrow. I have tried everything in the community forum, including resetting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop, changing brush preferences, ensuring caps lock is off, using my Wacom tablet, not using my Wacom tablet, etc, and nothing is working. The actual tool itself works - but the cursor to see the size and placement of the tool does not. I will attach a photo of my screen for reference. I did also try doing the previous 'flick bug' trick from a previous post, but that didn't work either!

Your bug is quite interesting.

What I consistently reported on the brush cursor with other users was that it turned into an arrow when you actually started painting a brush or heating brush or a clone stamp.
It would be nice if you could share more detailed information about this.
