Need to do a full uninstall reinstall of PS CS6 and need info

I assume, and please correct me if I am wrong that since I need to do a full uninstall and then reinstall in the exact same computer that I do not need to deactivate it first, am I right?

Also is there a tool somewhere whereby I could do a clean uninstall. I think there is one, isn't there? And though I plan to uninstall PS I do not want to uninstall anything else of the suite. The reason for the unistall is that some plugin has a DOS screen in the background with some message on it and I could not find out anything about that message nor what plugin creates it.(OMP: Warning #72: KMP_AFFINITY: affinity only supported for Intel(R) processors.  OMP: Warning #71: KMP_AFFINITY: affinity not supported, using "disabled".

I uninstalled all plugins except 2, which i can't find how to, hence wanting to uni/install so that I could eventually know which plugin it is that creates that message and take care of it from there.

Thank you both for your help. The reset did not work but going to the plugins folders did and I found the culprit: PowerRetouchePro

For Photoshop CS6 the plugins/filters are usually installed in one of two places:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins

32 bit CS6 C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Plug-ins

or

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS6

32 bit CS6 C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS6

 

You can skip loading of optional and third party plugins by holding down the Shift key while starting

Photoshop CS6.

    Adobe does not reset activations, so be sure to deactivate first.

     

    Try resetting Preferences before thinking about uninstalling to avoid reinstallation issues:

    • Quit Photoshop
    • Hover your fingers over the Control Alt Shift keys, but don't press them yet
    • Launch Photoshop
    • Within a tenth of a second, press and hold Control Alt Shift until a dialog comes up
    • When the dialog asked if you want to reset Preferences comes up, release the three keys and click OK

    It takes a little while to get the timing down, so you may have to try more than once.

     

    Resetting Preferences puts everything back to a factory installation.

      @jane-e is the CS6 activation server still active?

      Perhaps not for long unless Adobe kindly leave it running for those who bought PS etc. outright and wish to continue working that way? I get a lot of customer blowback about subscription models.
