Photoshop causes computer to crash <title edited by moderator>

All last year (2023) and still this year despite having 64 Gb RAM and being able to multitask in previous years WITHOUT PROBLEMS I can't use Photoshop when I have premiere or encoder running without it invarably causing my computer to crash.

This is very unfortunate because after I finish editing in premiere I need to render. While I'm rendering I need to keep working and create a thumbnail for the video. Not being able to is extremely frustratiung. It's 2024 and I should be able to multi-task. This software is chronically and wrongfully overpriced and should be able to handle these very basic things on a very robust computer.

Please stop adding new features just to justify abusing us with this outrageous monthly fee until you can actually create a stable program. Please rightfully use the money we're giving you to properly beta test in real world scenarios instead of this half ass whatever you're doing.

It's mind blowing adobe asks us to "Be kind and respectful" while they're disrespectfully wasting our time, killing our inspiration, and essentially ripping us off. It's no wonder there's class action lawsuits against adobe and I am confident there will be more.

Ok, going to do that now, I had to save something and noticed a new bug, look at the buttons at the bottom of this EXTREMELY ANNOYING POP UP. They implement new trash features and don't give you a GD way to get the hell away from the trash like a simple "don't show again". I NEVER want to save to cloud. I HATE cloud. I NEVER ASKED FOR CLOUD.

If I close this annoying ass popup hell and try to save again then the adobe trash buttons appear correctly:

Now I have to select "on your computer" which is ALL THE [Profanity removed by moderator] I EVER WANT TO DO.

Does this happen to be a laptop with dual graphics? (this is why we ask for the full system info!)

If it is, the dual GPUs conflict and you need to disable the integrated GPU. See section 6 & 7 here:

Also, make sure you're using the Studio driver, not the Game Ready driver.

I wasn't using the removal tool. And this did this all year last year. I just got to the point where I quit using photoshop while using premiere and/or encoder. But because I ocassionally can't resist because I kind of need to for time sake and I SHOULD be able to I try again every now and then and it seems like half the time photoshop causes the system to crash. Most of the things I do are simply adding text over and image to make a thumbnail. Granted, the image may be big coming from a screen shot from the video but it's not like a raw image or as high resolution as coming from my DSLR. I only recently started using the removal tool. But, I don't think there has been a time yet where a crash happened when using it. And this crash started early last year before the AI integration. And at first it was really bad, just simply opening photoshop or switching to it while in premiere would cause it to crash. It isn't that quick to crash now so Adobe must have done something to fix it but not enough.

This ABSOLUTELY should be more than sufficient for the simple tasks I'm trying to do. Adobe hell updates shouldn't be making my hardware obsolete when I'm simply trying to do the same things I was able to do years ago.
