Photoshop, Mac OS Sonoma/Sequoia, Epson P700 Problems

I can print from Photoshop to my Epson P700 but I cannot change the color or color mode settings. After about an hour on a chat with an Adobe tech we determined the problem was some kind of incompatibility between Photoshop and the Mac OS. I can't find anything anywhere that addresses this. As of now, I have a fairly expensive printer that, with a bag of concrete and a chain, would make a decent boat anchor. Is this just another example of Apple abandoning the creative user market that helped define the brand?

That does not describe my problem but this does and provides the (messy and inconvenient) workaround: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/has-macos-sonoma-fixed-ventura-s-problem-not-saving-print-settings/m-p/13992204 After almost a day of talking with Apple and Adobe (with both saying it is the other's problem) an Apple phone tech sent me the link.

@defaultqluwwud98t5r I wrote this up here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/macos-sequioa-photoshop-25-and-messed-up-print-settings-during-printing/idi-p/15231269

Does that describe the issue you have?

I hope this helps

@defaultqluwwud98t5r great that that workaround is good for you, here sadly not with Sequoia.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
