Solved: Crash on start, free transform = hangs on if GPU disabled
On windows im have issue of crashed Photoshop early after startup. Im can load image but after few seconds its stop reaction and after seconds more - crash report.
Im use it with Cinema4D and illustrator (for making texture from illustrator for cinema) and both work good, only PS crashed all the time.
OK, I suspect that cinema is blocking the GPU and this is causing problems in the PS. But when im close Cinema - crahsing of PS continue.
And if im try to disable GPU, its can help with crash (and some time - not help) but im have gltich when use free transform - my routine its free transform of selected area and lienes of bounding box appeared and disapeared randomly if GPU off, and old lines stay after transform as trash elements and most fatal - second or third transform just hangup Photoshop - its freezed forewer with one-core 100% CPU usage. So its impossible to use.
Already read advice for crashing by adobe and some other forum threads.
Reseting preference not help, installing old version not help, loading with shift and skiping thir-party scripts not help. (just v22 is lowest possible old version aviable! Ridiculous! With such a degradation of quality its need 18-20. maybe those versions at least tested a little bit before release, at least there were no broken saves etc as after)
Reseting CT font cash maybe can help with crash on startup.... sometime(?) not sure - its not help for first try but help on second or maybe it was just concordance - after many startup fails its can load ok and working with no crash.
GPU off = free transform cant be used beacuse its hangsup after some steps.
12700k, 32gb ram, 2080ti win11, drivers up to date, updates up to date.
Hardware seems ok - all other stuff works ok. Im can render for weeks with no issue so dont think its memory error or something like. Game plays ok, etc. Only PS crashed.
