Strange color/tone shift doing edit in PS 24.1.1 from LrC12.1

I updated Photoshop today to v 24.1.1 and I am using LrC 12.1 on my Laptop running Win 11 V 22H2 (K85022303) updated 2023-01-17.

Sent a raw image from LrC to PS via edit in option applied a filter Topaz NoNoise and after completion of the process the result is displayed as shown in the screen capture below.

 

When the image is saved and is displayed in LrC there is a significant shift in Color/tone. See the screen shot.

This looks like a Photoshop bug we had some cases of for a while, but I thought had been fixed by now...?

 

What happens is that Photoshop saves the image without the embedded ProPhoto profile. In Lightroom untagged images are treated as sRGB, hence the muted colors. This is what ProPhoto looks like without color management. 

 

The fix is to reset Photoshop preferences, then it won't happen again. But the files already saved will still be untagged, so you need to go back and assign the correct profile.

    Thanks for your help, unfortunately resetting the PS preferences did not work for me.

    My problem only happens on my Windows laptop, my iMac works fine.

    After posting yesterday I noticed a strange post in the LrC forum with respect to Olympus raw images and Topaz plug-in. I applied a Topaz NoNoise filter when I carried out the edit in PS, and I am using Olympus raw images.
