tools change to pipette by default?

hi

i cant find this "feature" in the PS settings:

i wonder, why some tools (selection maybe) change to pipette by default / automatic,

in most or certain conditions? its annoying to me since years..

(osx, latest PS)

Which Tools are affected? Have you ruled out hardware issues yet? Meaning in this case: Have you tried using another pen and another tablet? Could one of the pen's buttons be faulty/stuck for example?

Please provide a more meaningful description of the issue; which tools are affected, under which exact circumstances does it happen, have you ruled out hardware issues yet, …?
