Transform control corners disappeared; lasso tool line does not show

Quite honestly, Photoshop has been glitchy for me since the update, but these two major tools are causing immediate issues in my daily workflow.

I cannot see the transform control corners of the objects (it is checked above).  Yes, I can show "Layer Edges" but this is not the same.  I've reset the tool and restarted my computer multiple times.

In addition, the lasso line doesn't show up, but it's still selecting, I just don't know where the line is until I press ENTER.

Anyone have any ideas!?

I'm having the same problem as the original post, where transform controls disappear and the lasso / patch tool doesn't show your path until it's complete. 'Show transform controls' is ticked and showing layer edges isn't the answer. I've tried numerous things as advised online but this looks like it's a massive glitch in the 2019 update of Photoshop (I'm on version 20.0). even quitting the app or doing a full shut down doesn't work.

I have however found a way to fix it. If you open up a separate image that's RGB (it must be RGB) you will then find everything comes back in all photoshop files you have open. It's crazy that this works and shows there is a fundamental problem with the software since the update. People online are saying none of the minor updates to the software have so far fixed this.

Please fix this asap AdobeSupport as it makes Photoshop unusable at times!

I am not having those problems. What if you do a cmd / cntr + t? do the  transform handles show up?

Maybe try turning off graphics processor in the preferences.
