Please provide a link to the file already. 

In the first halfway complete screenshot you posted on this thread the icon was visible but grayed out, only in a later screenshot was it absent. 

As I cannot reproduce that so far I would like to verify if it might be connected to the specific file or font.

The thing is that on your screen shots you have the icon ready for use while on my computer this option is none exsitant. so I fail to see how it'll help. It's not a specific file it's on photoshop itself. 

Please provide the layered file for testing.

Is that Point Text or Paragraph Text? (see Type > Convert to …)

Nothing hapends what so ever... This is a new file and I want to wrap the type... 

It's double clicked, there foe selected but the T icon in the upper bar is missing...

Cant warp it.

What happens when you double-click the Type Layer’s icon in the Layers Panel? (screenshots please)

Obviously the affected file, just delete all the other Layers except the Type Layer, and provide a link via some file transfer provider (wetransfer or some other). 

Provide how? When I use new files I dont even have the the T icon so I can wrap it. 

If the issue persists please provide a layered file with only the affected Type Layer.
