Unable to Copy/Paste Path From Photoshop to Illustrator

After updating to Photoshop 21.1.0 for Mac, I am unable to copy/paste paths from Photoshop to Illustrator.

    I have the latest Photoshop update as well and cannot copy and paste a path in Photoshop. The path tool is selected like I used to do and it now copies the layer. Is this an upgrade issue?

    I just did it and copied and pasted a path from PS to Illustrator. 

    Worked for me.

    Also check out the fill and stroke of the path in Illustrator. It comes with no fill no stroke.
