Double photos while uploading.

I may have made a break through just now. I had to delete another 20'00000000 copies and then decided to do a test download from my camera.On the check/uncheck page there are 3 verticle collums of pictures.In the previouse versions of Elements that I have used there would be different pics.Now ,upon a closer look there are 2 file names of each picture (not actual pics) ex ad02138nef ,1 ado2139nef etc. I'v never seen this before.Now I check just 1 of each pic to upload and I get just 1 pic.of each.The screenshot is terrible I know.

Could be that you have jpeg and raw images in your camera and are downloading both to your computer.

Elements 23.When I upload my photos from camera to Organizer all the photos are doubled and I have to delete the extras.What's happening?
