End of life product? Activation Server No Longer Available?

Hi,

Back in 2011, I bough a license for Adobe Photoshop Elements, since then I have been using it on a laptop. Currently when the software is open it says: Adobe Photo Elements 10.

I tried to reinstall the software on a new PC(Win 10) and I get an error saying the key is invalid?? So I contacted the support chat and i have been told the following:

"......As I have checked the details the product you have is an end of life product and the activation server for this product has been shut."

So what am I suppose to do now?

Lost information - see reply #1 in https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2008767

    - page has links to programs to find an installed serial number in Mac or Windows

If you do have v10, write your serial number on a piece of paper and put it in a desk drawer

That doesn't sound correct to me.

Where did you purchase it from?

    See here:

    Invalid or revoked serial numbers

    and here:

    Adobe Genuine Software

Your screen shows version 5, not version 10... you can't use a v5 serial number to install v10

If v5 is available for download, it will be in kglad links in reply #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2433672

But, v5 is so old that it may not work with Win10
