  When I have worked on a photo in Elements and I want to keep this I can select different options. I always take Basic.I can choose between Basic, Basic lines and progressive.What is the differents between those options? I'm watching a video on how to add frames around a photo.  The first step is to select "Contents" from the Windows menu.   But I don't see that option in that menu.  I am in expert mode and the program just updated itself, so I'm assuming I'm working with the latest version. Thank you in advance.MS 

According to instructions found here FAQs | Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 in order to use Elements 2021 on a new computer all I have to do is sign out from the older one, which I did, and then sign on with the new one, which I did, but when I try to install Elements, I only am given the option to buy or a free trial. I can't find the download for current owners. What am I missing? Thanks.

I am no longer able to directly save photos edited in Photoshop Elements 2020 back to Photos app on Mac using Mojave. I used to be able to Open in:  PS Elements, carry out my edits and then Save Changes back in Photos app.  I have recently run OnyX would this have somehow deleted the 'file' allowing for this procedure?  Can't think of any other reason for it to stop.

Every time I start PSE 2021 I get this notification. I don't need or want any updates. What and how do I delete/disable  this so it never pops up again?

I am at my wits end.  I have had Adobe on my computer and so far they cannot correct the problem.  I purchased a software card for Photoshop Elements 2021 from Best Buy.  Thought I was purchasing software that I would install on my computer.......Never dreamed this is Adobe's way of controlling us by not letting us have software on our computer.  Anyway, I digress.  I installed, uninstalled, reinstalled a dozen times and so did they but nothing has stopped the endless sign in loop when trying to access the photo editor of Photoshop Element 2021.  Anyway have a fix that little ole me can do.  Other wise I wasted $100 and will NEVER use Adobe products again because this is ridiculous! 

Just upgraded very smoothly from PE13 to PE2021. All went fine. One small issue: I used to have a black background for the Organizer with all the thumnails of my pictures. It is now white/grey and cannot find the option to change this into black again. Wher can I find it?

I now use Photoshop Elements and consider to upgrade to 2021. Is it possible/easy to import my current PE13 version catalogue into PE2021?

After updating to the latest release of Elements 2021 I can no longer view any images once I double click on the thumbnail. A grey box with a question mark shows up on the screen. Doesnt matter if the image is JPEG or RAW.  Any insights? 

I recently had to replace the hard drive in my laptop. I have so far spent over 20 hours this week trying to reinstall my photoshop elements software and premiere software.  I've been online with the adobe support for a long time this morning but have been on hold for over half an hour.  Can anyone recommend good alternative photo editing software ?

salvenon capisco perchè nonostante il software sia aggiornatissimo, mi ripete da sempre gli stessi problemi..se seleziono l'opzione " Elabora più file " ed a tal fine, indico le immagini contenute in una cartella affinchè proceda per tutte al " ridimensionamento " o alla   " miglioria automatica " delle immagini...il software inizia l'elaborazione, ma, dopo poche immagini elaborate si blocca dicendo " che non è possibile elaborare una determinata immagine poichè aperta in altre applicazioni " cosa che, di fatto, non corrisponde alla realtà. Le immagini non sono aperte in altre applicazioni. E cosi continua con frequenza a bloccarsi con altre immagini immotivatamente. Il problema maggiore è che è necessario ripartire sempre il tutto da zero, rielaborando tutte le immagini della cartella, poichè diversamente, il programma rimane bloccato e non procede con le restanti immagini .. ???bisognerebbe sanare il bug o in alternativa, far si che se riscontra un problema su un immagine O

Hi, bought my PSE 2021 beginning of February from MS Store. - All was ok with my old camera. Yesterday I got my new Nikon Z6ii and now Camera Raw con not manage this Raw files. - After some investigations, I found out, that already patches available 2021.1 and now also 2021.2. I have an older version calls Version 19 (20201104 was. 153865). - Now my question, I am from Germany, this patches are not available here? - I got no massage from PSE2021 and in the Menue is no item for updates.THX for help

When I attempt to use the replace sky function in Perfect Landscape it is inconsistent. On some of my images it works fine, but on others, it does not replace the sky. Has anyone else had this problem? if so, is there a fix? 

I was looking at my Photoshop Elements 15 organizer and noticed that 3 years of my folders were missing (2004 to 2006) from my catalog from 2003 to present. I did a lot of work on my catalog these past two weeks (when I did my last incremental backup) and would rather not restore from there if those folders were also missing then and I just didn't notice.  I have no idea how these folders actually disappeared and when I do a "find" for specific photo files they don't appear.  All of these folders are still on my hard disk, so only deleted from photoshop, but have no idea how this could have happened (years of tagging, descriptions, etc.).How do I open files in my backup to see if any of these missing photos are there before I restore and lose all the work that I have done?Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I am using a Wacom 2019 intuos Pro tablet with Elements 2020. Everything works except the "Redo" function cannot be programmed in the Wacoms express keys. All other desired functions work on the express keys. Redo can be programmed in any other app, just not Elements. Any ideas on how to make this work?

   I just updated from Elements 12 to 2021.  There have been significant changes to Elements in the past 9 years.  Is it possible to make a slideshow without using the templates in the Organizer?

Hi Everyone, Im not a hot shot with Adobe Elements, I use the basics to change & improve Genealogy documents, I recieved a copy of it with my pc mamy years ago all details below. I just keep my pc for my Genealogy now so its still in the Windows 7 no need for upgrade toW10.It really works great till yesterday the copy & paste from 1 Doc to another just stopped working after a frustrating few hours trying to google for help problems I decided to delete my Adobe Elements and re-install it for the legal cd, however for some reason its failing to do this and is saying I need IE 4.0 or higher to install still I cant get it to install. Can anyone help me do this please. I have the Serial Number which I have blacked out at the moment.regards in advance

I'm currently running PSE 15 on Windows 10 and want to upgrade to PSE 2021.I have a rather big catalog in Organizer so I whant to be sure of the upgrade path. Is it possible to go directly from 15 to 2021 without messing up the Organizer catalog? Or do I have to jump via another version?/ Christian

I recently updated to the 2021.1 update of Photoshop Elements, and now my Wacom Intuos M tablet causes hang and crash in PSE.  No other software changes have been made.  I am on Win10 64 Bit with latest Windows updates (applied before PSE update) Anyone else having the smae issue?  How can I fix this?

Hi I have been using Photoshop Elements 12 Editor for several years now. Whenever I try and save anything it crashes. Anyone have any ideas on what I need to do? I tried to contact adobe and the virtual chat said 'We didn't find a supported product in your account'.  Cheers!Suzi

We are happy to announce the release of Photoshop Elements 2021.2!    Build: 20210304.m.156367     After the update is installed, verify the build number by choosing Help > About Photoshop Elements.    Fixed issues in the 2021.2 update Application crashes while using touch pen with tablets.  Application crashes while using the crop tool.  Application crashes sometimes during exit.     Apply the update in one of the following ways:  Click Install Now or Install On Exit in the update message displayed in Photoshop Elements Choose Help > Updates (when the update message is not displayed)

Is the organizer rebuilt when there is a new release of the editor?  The build numbers are different, so it is unclear if the organizer was recreated also.

My catalog and backup are stored on external hard drives.  Unfortunately one crashed and when I opened up Elements 2020 my catalog was gone.  I still have backups on another external drive, so I restored my catalog, but I accidentally restored an old backup.  That backup does not have all the keywords that I want.  How can I restore the most recent catalog?  Do I have to uninstall Elements 2020 and reinstall it? Thanks.

Hi, Just seen the promised Photoshop Elements 2021.2 Update has been released today. No new features, but some important bug fixes - including the one for using touch pens and tablets 🙂 Thanks Adobe! Updates for Photoshop Elements and Camera Raw Edit: Looks like only the Editor application gets an update (moves up to Build:20210304.m.156367) while the Organizer remains at Build:20210126.m.155261 aka 2021.1
