installation problems Photoshop Elements 2019

I was trying to install Photoshop Elements 2019 (bought version) again on an old laptop with Windows 10.

I put a new SSD drive in the laptop. When I try to reinstall it, I got a foult message saying that I need Windows 11 to install it. The problem is that de laptop is not suitable for Windows 11. That means that I can not install Photoshop Elements 2019. Doe anyone has a solution for this problem?

Correct answer John Waller

Try downloading Adobe Creative Cloud first. Then install Elements 2019.

See this discussion where people have had success with this on Win 11. May work on Windows 10 too.

Having done some (offical) Windows 11 repairs I need to reinstall Photoshop Elements 2019.

I have the .exe file saved from a previous installation but now when run it won't install.

I read other replies, and have installed Creative Cloud, but still Elements refuses with the same error.

All OS Browser and others are up to date.

It was previously registered but now doesn't appear in my account.

Is there a download available for PE 2019.

For what it's worth...

I had/have the same "not install" issue, so I was directed to Adobe.Tech@outlook.com, suppodedly support!

They replied with "PSE 2019 is no longer supported with Windows 11 64 Bit System."

"PSE 2025 under testing so, we provide you the PSE 2024 and it will be after all the discounts US$79.99 lifetime license."

That is after I told them I already bought PSE 2025 (not as any version of testing) direct from Adobe UK website, as an upgrade.

Currently I'm in conversation with them, but right now I rate their support at minus value!

Cease all communications with them, as they are spammers. Adobe does not use an "outlook.com" email address. If they sent you a PM, click the three dots in the upper right and report the account name so that account will be banned from the forums.

John Waller, is Photoshop Elements supposed to be included in your Creative Cloud?  It's not in mine.  So I still can't install my PSE or PE 2019 programs on my new Windows 11 machine.  Adobe is reallly making this difficult.

Hi @Jan Peter22975527jron

Since your question is about Photoshop Elements, I have moved this from the Photoshop forum where you posted.
