Which iOS versions are compatible with Elements 15? My Mac runs on 10.13.6 (High Sierra). If I update the system, will Elements 15 work?

Probably macOS Mojave 10.14 is the newest version that PSE 15 will run on, since Mojave still supports 32 bit.

 

I wouldn't take a chance in updating to Catalina 10.15, especially if the Mac is your only computer.

 

Many times applications will get slower if your disk free space is getting low.

 

Also for future reference, so users that are not familiar with Macs don't get confused, iOS is the operating system for iPads and iPhones, while macOS/Mac OS X is for Mac desktop/laptop computers.

What model and year Mac do you have?

 

It might work if it's already installed when you update your system to macOS Catalina 10.15; however, it will certainly not install or reinstall because even though PSE 15 itself is 64-bit, it uses some 32-bit components, which Apple deprecated support for running starting with macOS Catalina 10.15.

Adobe no longer sells any versions of PSE that work on macOS Catalina 10.15, so I don't think it's worth the risk of upgrading.

I installed PSE 15 on my Mac (iOS 10.13.6 - High Sierra) in 2017 or 2018,
and it works fine. Other old apps on my Mac aren't performing well, so I
thought I should update the iOS. Do you think PSE 15 will work if I update
to 10.15? If not, what is the most recent iOS that is compatible with PSE
15?

PSE is on iOS for iPhone??

Photoshop Elements 15 update (version 15.2) for MacOS X was last updated 15th December, 2016.

I have Elements 15.0 (20161208.m.100202) x64. I don't think I can update
it. I bought it; I don't pay a monthly subscription fee, if that matters.
If I update my Mac to 10.11, released in 2017, will Elements 15 work? What
if I update iOS to 10.15 (Catalina)?

Your Mac sounds relatively old (obsolete). You could update to 10.15 if your machine allows; a version of PSE that runs on Catalina may not be available from Adobe. I'll continue checking...
