Monterey installed photoshop elements 2021 not working

Installed Mac is Monterey 12.0.1 on my MacBook Pro this morning and photoshop elements 2021 would not open after sleep mode and only reopens after shutting down and restarting the laptop. Has anyone else had this problem?
