No text seen in Adobe Photoshop Elements

I had the same issue, also on PS Elements 2021. I resolved it by setting the type size setting to the lowest value (6). The text then showed in the text field. It was too small, but I could see it, highlight it and raise the setting. 

@defaultpy6ewptckj6t,  your problem certainly seems similar to what others have recently reported.  Adobe has been made aware of the issue.

@defaultpy6ewptckj6t , please take a look at this thread.  It sounds like you may be experiencing the same thing.  Can you please confirm whether or not you are.  I have brought this issue to the attention of Adobe but it may help them give attention to the issue and fix it, if it is a common problem that has just surfaced (perhaps as a result of a Windows update???).

The other users describe that the change to the text becomes visible if they click on the image canvas.

Possibly your text is the same color as your background color.  Try highlighting the text and re-choosing the text color in the Text Tool > Tool Options > Color picker. 

Another option might be that your text has landed in the layers panel under another layer.  If this is the case, you can drag your text layer to the top of the layers panel.
