Organizer [Nothing there after bulk import of photos]

"Bulk import of all my photos in to organizer"? Nonsense.The organizer itself only stores a catalog. No picture file.

It's like you have an Excel catalog of your books library. When you "import" the data in your catalog, you don't put you books 'in your catalog'.

"Importing" (Getting photos from files and folders) means recording and indexing the properties and location of your media files in a catalog. The media files are still where you put them before the 'Import' job.

"Getting photos from camera and card reader" means a two stage process: first downloading the files to a location you choose on your computer, then 'importing' that is recording/indexing in the catalog as explained above.
