Photos from Facebook albums are suddenly not opening correctly

Everything has been good with the images until now. To my knowledge nothing has changed. No updates or changes. If I save and open a image from a FB album I get a raster image purple colors. If I open it any other way like with a photoviewer it is fine. Any other image from any other source it is fine. Any ideas?

Saving the image in another application usually fixes it. (although re-saving a jpg is not recommended for quality reasons)
