I have Photosop Elements 14 and  I have updated it  to 14.1  I  run it in PC with windows 10. It  runs normally but it freezes immediately  when I click the Text tool. The  problem  appeared  a couple of weeks ago and it seems to continue. How to correct the problem?

Yesterday I used Photoshop Elements for editing some images using several tools such as Content-Awere Move Tool, Rectangular Marquee, Polygonal Lasso, Clone Stamp, Cut, Copy, Paste, Levels, stardard Enchance Tools,  Sharpen, Blur, Brush.  Additionally I  had previously used Microsoft Office Word to create some documents using several  fonts in various sizes. After editing images I tried to use  the Text Tool in PS Elements and to my surprise the Text Tool functioned properly. The default font appeared to be Myanmar Text Regular which I never use. I  tried to use Text Tool also  today, it runs OK but appeares again with default font Myanmar Text Regular all  though I had  closed Elements  using some other font. I'm satisfied  the Text Tool runs now properly, but  could someone  explain why it is so.

I have tried all those, however the  problem remains.

The freezing problems continued. Occasionally the PS Elements 14.1 recovered after using Lasso Tool, but soon it crashed again. Thus I ended up to purchase a new version of PS Elements 20, installed  it and now it runs smoothly.
