Software activation issues

I have purchasaed Adobe Photoshop Elements Version: 20.0 and have received and ADDED the serial numbers to activate and appeared to activate.

On using i see most features and tools are greyed out and cannot be selected.

I suspect activation has not completed. I wonder if this is a tech issue?

You are probably in the Quick Mode which is how a new installation of Elements 2022 opens by default. You need to switch to Expert Mode to be able to use all of the features. Click on the tab at the top of the window.

If you are in fact in Expert Mode, you need to have an image open for the menus to become active.
