Time to Upgrade?

I'm a long-time Photoshop Elements user, going back to Photoshop LE and what came before that (I think it might have been called Photoshop Deluxe). Anyway, I don't upgrade every time a new version comes out. I'm now using PSE 11. I'd be interested to hear what forum followers say about whether PSE15 is  so much better that it's time for me to upgrade? Thanks.

    Thanks, those links were great and very helpful. But I notice that one of the links asserts that Adobe comes out with a new version of PSE every autumn. Does that mean there will be PSE16 in just a couple of months? I might be buying a new camera this winter and I'd hate to have PSE15 RAW unworkable for me then because there's a new PSE16.

    If the past is an index to the future, Adobe will be releasing PSEv.16 later this year.

    I would not install PSEv.15 at this time, esp. if you are using WIN10. The recent WIN updates have raised havoc with the functionality of PSE. Have a look at the many postings! The hope is that Adobe will configure PSEv.16 so that it functions as expected by long-time users.

    Unless you are short on disk space, I would keep PSEv.11 for a while no matter what. Two versions of the software can reside on the same machine since each version is independent.
