Does this version have key binds like in the Pro version? like for example hitting a key to open a trim tool? If so what are they?[title edited by mod for clarity]
Hey everyone, I am trying to import and edit .MTS files from my camcorder into Premiere Elements 14. The recorded video is on an SD card which truncates the file into seperate smaller files. When I try to add these into Premiere the video plays fine for approximatly the first 15 minutes, though afterwards it turns into a strange 'fast foward' effect and ends with a freezed frame. To try and make my explanation a bit more clear I've recorded a screen capture of me importing a file and these aforementioned three states: Any help would be greatly appreciated. For now I am using VSDC as a temporary (and slightly awkward) fix, but it seems strange to me that there wouldn't be a solution for this within Premiere.
Now that PE2019 no longer burns finished movie to Blu Ray, I have exported an MPEG2 for TV file to copy to USB & place in HD TV. How do i retain Menus & chapters created on PE2019 ?

Hello, I am using high quality stereo audio tracks right from Cubase in an MP3 format. When i play the mp3 file on my computer it is in true stereo but once I drop it into the timeline in Premiere Elements it immediately sums it to mono. I wondered if this was because in editing it doesn't play back audio in stereo so I rendered and exported a video of just my audio track and sure enough it's still only in mono. Any ideas? (Using Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on a PC running Windows 10)
I made a video that was too dark and so utilized an adjustment layer. Other than taking a day and a half to render, there were no other issues. The preview was perfect, but when I burned the DVD and played it, the audio was fine, the text layer was fine but the entire video was grass green. No image anywhere. I saved a new copy with no adjustment layer, burned it, and it is totally fine. Can anyone help me fix this? Using Premiere Elements 2018 with Windows 10. Thankyou.
Using P.E. 14, when I import my video, the audio is, of course, in sync. But I record external audio I can't figure out how to perfectly align the external audio track to the recorder's internal audio track.1. I use a clapper to generate a waveform alignment spike on both audio tracks (internal, external)2. I import the video with its internal audio track3. I import the external video track.4. In "expert mode", the external audio only seems to be able to be adjusted in increments of video frames. But unless I get supremely lucky, it's always a touch off. There must be a way to adjust audio tracks in much finer increments, yes? Thanks for the assist!Bodhi
ADE 2019Windows 10I just upgraded and purchased and downloaded APE 2019. When I try to open programs I created in APE 2018 they just generate a crash report. Even when I restarted and opened with nothing else running.Cheers! Phil
I am a total newbie to Premiere Elements and am not a media guru at all. We have a horse breeding operation and I need to put together some handsome sales videos of the horses. I am having problem with the resolution and smoothness of my projects. Most of my video media comes from my Sony HD AVCHD. When I import the videos from the camera the uploaded file is a .MPG file. I have been told that that is not a compatible file for Premiere Elements 2019 and that I would need to convert the file. So, I have downloaded EasyFab Video Converter. Within that converter you can select for which video editor you are using. I chose Premiere. It converts the file and what I find is the same file extention...but with lower case .mpg instead of .MPG. Then, when I create my videos the images are fuzzy with poor resolution. Even the static photos have poor resolution. See below.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0yy9eh8-Qkhttp://Thanks
Premier Elements 19 will not connect to either my sony hvr-z1u camera or Sony hvr-m25u cassette recorder. Windows 10 sees both but says further installation is required.
First I create a video collage in Premiere Elements, choose a template and import videos in the media bin. Then I drag one of the videos onto one of the frames. However the video is not contained within the boundaries of the frame; instead it just sprawls across the whole screen. What is going wrong please?
I have two standalone slideshow videos, made with PRE14 and each contain a “Menu-based with scenes menu”. I want to place them on a single Blu-ray disc (will start with ISO Image) using a Movie Menu that contains a “menu-based with several movie selections”. The PE14 Help guide is not clear to me on how to accomplish without combining the two videos into one then setting up the “Main Menu Markers”.How can I do this simply and without having to first combine the two into a single movie (slideshow video)?
Hello.I have installed a Battlesimulator and i want to export the sound file as a Wave File.Once i have managed to export the different audio files to mp3 or wav, but now i am not able to.The original Files are in the agg Format. I looked around for a converter, but i cant find anything. Are there any plugins or maybe convert options that i can load the whole file into Premiere elements 19 ?
I have made my first menu for a DVD using Premiere Elements 15. After fooling with it for a while, I got everything formatted, positioned, etc.. But when I burned the DVD and played it on my TV, the menu came out too big, and ran off the side of the screen. I then reopened the program and the file on my computer, and found that the menu had changed there the same way. Any idea why it is changing on me?
I just updated to 2019 and was really angry to discover this issue. I happen to really dislike Windows 8 and 10, and I'm certainly not going to switch my OS just to author videos. Switching video software is much easier. My temporary workaround will be to use MediaCoder to copy out the audio from my video clips. This is unwieldy for large projects though, so if this issue is not corrected soon I will need to find another video editor.
I previously had Premiere Elements 12. I didn't use it much, but I had been able to drag videos into it, assemble final videos, etc. Then, for some reason, the video stopped working. If I dragged a video file into the timeline and hit play, I'd just see gray and hear the audio. If I double-clicked the video to just play the source, I got the same result.I decided to upgrade it, hoping maybe just the installation of Elements 2019 would solve the problem. No suck luck. I still get a gray box and hear the audio. If I open the video in organizer, I get the same thing.I should stress: I've tried numerous source videos from all over my hard drive, in varying formats. I've tried MP4s, AVIs, etc. My videos play in other players; it's just the Adobe Premiere Elements and Organizer that do it. Any clues on where to begin debugging this?
Hello there! I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who could lend me their expertise!I am not extremely technical but I am absorbing as much information as I can while searching for a good video editing laptop. I edit videos on a regular basis for my YouTube channel and I need a powerful laptop that can handle multi-tasking with editing video as well as photos in Photoshop Elements. I'm used to using Premiere Elements (wouldn't mind upgrading to Premiere Pro, but it is just so much more expensive! So I figure I'll stick to Elements, at least for now). I've kind of fallen in love with the Surface Book 2 because I love the idea of the detachable screen with the Surface Pen for digital art. But I'm wondering whether the Surface Book 2 will actually give me a good video editing experience if I use Elements 2019.I've been reading about how Elements doesn't utilize the GPU, just the CPU. So I'm wondering whether the i7 processor version of the 13
I'd like to burn a DVD with several videos, such that it will then be playable on a DVD player/TV. I'd like for it to have a way for the user to select one of the videos, and play it. Can Premiere Elements 15 do that?
I've taken a large number of still images using a 300mm lens on a DSLR of whales in Alaska. Many of them are shot at better than 5FPS (8fps) so I might have 40 or so frames of whale action in each sequence. Most of the still images are 13.8MB 5568x3712. I want to make a few slo-mo clips of this action. Some of the frames will need to be centered better and leveled as the background is occasionally tilted. Also cropping needed. Is there a way to make these clips using Premiere elements? Or is it some multi step process using Photoshop Elements to do some of the pre edits? Any tutorials out there that someone can point to?
Hello, I have about had it with the continuous amount of times i've tried and failed to import a video taken in, '4k 60fps' on my Iphone XS into Adobe Premiere Elements 2019. Can someone please help me with this error:[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from Premiere Pro to Premiere Elements... Mod]
It would be nice to have additional metadata fields displayed in the column headings in the Assets Panel...for example, Date Created.Do I have to move to Premiere Pro CC to get that? Are there other tools that editors use to fetch that data easily while working in PremElem (other than using Properties in File Explorer)? Thanks,MM in Carlsbad
I can do everything I need to with photos but the minute I try and add text both Elements and Premier freeze. I am not sue how long this has been happening as I haven't opened the program for a while and Windows has done a upgrade recently. Thanks for any helpSusan
when using adobe premiere elements 11, while importing a video of 3-5 minutes long, it will only import the audio file and extend it to a 35 minutes audio file, how do I fix this? never had a problem before, have had the program for about 10 years.
I just purchased Premiere 2019 (previously had 2015 version). When I load quicktime movies (*.mov) movies, there is pure static in the audio. But these movies if played by themselves (not in Premiere) have fine audio with no problems. What can I do so that the .mov videos will pay correct audio in Premiere?
