Questions

I have been editing some footage with a decent camera and the quality of the videos are relatively good. For some reason, while I am editing them on adobe premiere elements, the quality of the videos significantly worsen. Does this change when I export the final video or will the outcome be the same? I have tried rendering the footage and it is of no help. Please leave any suggestions as to how I could improve the footage quality. Quality of the footage not downloaded on the app is much better in comparison to when on the application.

I bought Adobe Premier Elements 2018 and it came with the latest version of Adobe Organiser. All good so far. I've imported some old catalogues, however, if I click the "edit" button it only gives me options to install the latest Photoshop Elements package via DVD, or to download the trial version. I already have Photoshop Elements 13 and am perfectly happy to stay with it so I'd like to be able to point the editor to that. Sadly though, if I try and add Elements 13 as an external editor, Organiser kindly informs me that there is no need, as support is already built in. Yes, it is, but not for older versions (or so it seems).Having tried that, I then loaded up my old version of Organiser, which still works just fine. However, if I wish to open a video file for editing, it informs me that I need to purchase Premier Elements 13. Is there any way I can get one version of Elements Orgainser (don't care which one) to open both Photoshop Elements 13 AND Premier Elements 2018? I can perhaps u

Hello, community. I recently purchased Premiere Elements as I recently purchased an iMac. I am very frustrated because of how the animated GIFs are imported in Premiere Elements with a solid white background despite being originally transparent. I tested a transparent image of a non-moving logo and it was fine, but for some reason, the animated GIFs aren't imported as its original form and automatically has a solid white background every time and is asked to videomerge for whatever reason. Can anyone help me and tell me why this is happening? I had the Windows version of Premiere Elements before and it was fine with importing transparent GIFs as transparent GIFs.

Hi, i have a problem with my Adobe Elements 14. It crashes all the time. I have MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.3. I do have a free space (400 gb free from 1TB). 8GB ram and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2GB. I have bought original software from Adobe and used it for about 2 years with no problem. It starts about 2 months ago. When i start new project import files program turn off it selv. No saving of course. It is impossible to work with it. I have tried to uninstall it and start again. Pls help me, what to do, if my (original) Premiere Elements disk 1 does not install the program on my PC at all. It says that it was installed but i there is not any on my PC. (Windows 7). Where I can find a replacement if I had bought it 8 years ago? (And never had tried to use it before?) Picture disappears in certain places. even if I delete it and insert it again, the picture is gone in exactly the same place. Can it be the Premiere Elements has problems with transparent TIFF files?

I have had clips from several different cards, several different cameras, and several different formats, where not all of the audio imports into my project. However,they import fine in Elements 14. I can't track down a common denominator with this issue.Is there an update to Elements 2018 that fixes this?Thanks for you help!

I used Premiere 2010 for years, started to have driver issues and could not preview the videos when editing them, video window went black but I could here the sound.  Decided perhaps I should get the latest version which I did purchase.  I can open the program, but when I try to add video files to the storyboard it gives me the same pop up error as written above.  I tried many files at first then went down to just one file to add, same error, any suggestions?

The help discussions said if I had shake reduction on any clip before 2018 I was stuck.  But I do have 2018, and I reloaded the clip from Media.Now still not exporting or rendering.  No clips show the error message, since I replaced the one that did.  Still no exporting.

When I click on the application to open it, an icon appears in the Windows 10 task bar, but then it does nothing.We uninstalled and re-installed Premier Elements 14.  We also followed the instructions suggested in the URL:Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements do not launch | Windows 10Please help. 

I'm not able to insert Music into my video, that is running on a separate audio line. Also the drag and drop functionality of the music elements is generally not working. I'm using Premiere Elements 2018 latest version but test version to evaluate the software. I spent one hour to realize that it is simply not possible to insert a mp3-file as a sountrack as background of the video. Is this a bug?

Hello All, I recently installed Premiere Elements 2018 and up until this point it had been running smoothly, until this past Thursday when I exited out of the project and it popped up a message stating it was looking for solutions to the issue. I paid little mind to this as nothing else came up and the program closed normally afterward. After roughly a half hour passed I went to open the Video Editor and it will not load in, I click the tab and the little blue and white flashing bar just flows from left to right, like it is trying to load but will not. I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it but the issue persists.I know that I have the correct specifications to run it, as I had been running the program perfectly and bought my Surface for Premiere Elements, knowing that it met and exceeded the requirements for the program.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hello, I have created new project containing 60fps video shots, but after many hours I spent with editing, I did export which was 25fps. I checked the project setting and it was really in 25fps and cannot change it. Is there any workaround how to change the fps in almost finished project?

I have been a heavy user of PE since 2011 and try to learn more, have Classroom In A Book.  In this case, the book does not get through my thick skull.Have read pp. 141-148 "Creating a Picture-in-Picture Overlay" to "Compositing Two Clips Using Videomerge"and just don't get it.I want to superimpose many, many shapes, without loosing Opacity.  So, could someone send me in the direction of  understanding how to do it?  Videomerge?(not even quite getting Videomerge)Let's take a shot made with Photoshop Element of the letter A, how do I superimpose it on another shot made without a camera of letter Z.The letters are White and the background is Black.Thanking your replies !

Hallo, in die Startsequenz des Videos soll ein Titel eingeblendet werden (Titel - Standarttext). Den Titel habe ich in die zweite Videospur der Timeline eingefügt. Spiele ich die Sequenz, egal, ob gerendert oder nicht, in der Timeline, läuft alles wie gewünscht, der Titel erscheint in der gewünschten Sequenz. Wird der Film "exportiert und freigegeben", erscheint diese Titeleinblendung nicht. DieSequenz läuft also normal ab ohne den eingefügten Titel. Kann mir vielleicht jemand sagen, was ich hier übersehen habe bzw. woran das liegt?Vielen Dank im VorausM. Zay

I was trying to edit something in Adobe Premiere Elements 15, and when I went to add an MP3 file, Premiere just crashed. I tried using a .wav file, but that didn't work either. I just wonder what's happening here.

I have a timeline that spans 24 minutes.  The video is done at approximately 17 minutes, however, I cannot figure out how to delete the excess space.  Thoughts?

Hi there,new user to Adobe and generally first time in video editing. I have bulk uploaded several locations to elements organiser and i simply want to be able to view all my media in relation to date taken. From the menus available it allows me to sorts by newest/oldest however it only organises by import date not date taken. Any advice is what i am looking for is possible in elements organiser? NB i am using premiere elements with organiser. If i am click the events or locations tab, it seems to organise in this manner which is a kind of work around. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

I am an absolute beginner to Premiere and after installing Elements 2018, I am receiving the dreaded "Incompatible Display Driver" message. A lot of advice suggests removing the BadDriver.txt file but there doesn't seem to be such a file with the new version of Elements. Have tried reinstalling drivers for my graphics card but doesnt improve the situation.DirectXDiagnostic shows the following settings;I must admit to having not used computers for much more than surfing the internet for the last decade so my knowledge is super limited and I have no idea what my next move is.

Using Adobe Premiere Elements 14 , at the end of my video , I have more credits than the title/credit roll allows. Is there anyway to add extra credits to a particular credit roll ??Thanks. Dave B.

I want to get some old 8mm movies scanned and imported into Premiere Elements for editing. I am confused about what output format to ask for.  They recommend a 2K scan to get as much out of the film as possible.  They offer MP4, AVI files, MOV, HD MP4, HD AVI, HD Prores, 2K AVI editing files, and 2K Prores files.  What I want is to get the best quality that I am sure I can import.  I am worried that any Prores file won't work. MP4, AVI and MOV I am sure will work, but am I throwing away quality from a 2 K scan?  Will HD AVI,  HD MP4, 2K AVI editing files work in Premiere Elements?Any help would be appreciated.

I am using PREMIER ELEMENT 10. I try to add an audio file to a project and I receive a message «Le module d'importation a signalé une erreur générique/ the import module signal a generic error» and the file is not added to the project. The audio file is an MP4 format in my ITUNE library. What can I do to import an AUDIO-FILE? Thank you for your help.Serge
