Question

AAF export "loses metadata"?

So, The AAF export seems to be working fine since the last updates. Everything opens up in ProTools just like it was in Premiere (as long as everything is the same sample rate). But like I said, it loses metadata.

Every time I send the project onto the sound post, the sound designer complains about not getting metadata with the files.

I don't really even know what that means or why they need the metadata, but does anyone have a solution for this?

I feel like I'm giving a very unprofessional impression of myself cause I can't handle such a simple technical issue.

Everyone wants me to work with Avid Media Composer instead because these things work with it, but I prefer working with Premiere.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks!
