Adding a Crossfade to Audio Transitions Resets the Volume

When I add a crossfade to an audio transition, the volume on an unrelated track gets reset to zero when the timeline plays.  PPro 25.0.1 (Build 73)MacBook Pro M1Sequoia 15.3
