Adding clips in a folder to timeline

In Premiere Pro, I am moving a PSD file with 35 layers onto the timeline. When I place the folder, it positions all images sequentially on the timeline, then stacks the same 35 images vertically over top of the last image on 35 added layers. How do I put an end to this behavior? I only want the images sedquential on one layer. Thanks!

And I may have solved my problem: I was importing them from the Photoshop file as a sequence. When I imported as individual layers the problem went away. Did I do right?

I don't know how to make that happen, when I import a PSD, and select the Sequence option, it works like you said, but without that final vertical stacking. Maybe some more detail will help.

Sorry, just now saw your response. Thank you! I did do this for a few files days ago, and they didn't stack. I'm not sure what else I could've done to mess it up in the meantime. But you're saying they shouldn't do that.

I changed some timeline settings on default audio and clip duration, but don't see anything else in that dialog I could've done that would result in this.

You can always experiment with Test projects, make as many as you like. Try the various settings. That may have been an errant click or drag. All's well then, you are on your way!
