Adding medio or Renaming in Project Panel down twirls every Bin and Sub-Bin in Project

Question

If I add media or rename anything in the Project panel (bin, clip, whatever), every single bin down twirls and my project bin becomes a total cluster and I can't see what I'm working on. I have to option click the twirl arrow to up twirl every bin, and then twirl back down as needed. This is really a mess when working on a feature film with dozens if not hundreds of bins. The expected result is simply that the the twirl status of all the bins stays the same when importing or creating a new bin/sequence/color matte, etc.

This only occurred in a Project inside a Production.

Closing the project and reopening it fixes the issue, but wanted to bring it to your attention so there is a record in case anyone else is dealing with this.

I cannot say why this started, unfortunately.

Premiere Pro v 25.0.0 build 61 on macOS 15.1.1

System: M1 Max with 64GB memory

Hi @lehestro,

Thanks for the message. That definitely sounds annoying. Does it happen every time you try to rename it? If you're able to capture a screen recording of what happens, that would help our engineers a lot to address it.
