Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone else is getting this problem with premiere 24. I followed the instructions in this existing post to no avail:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/adobe-premiere-pro-2023-is-damaged-and-can-t-be-opened/td-p/13348245

All other 2024 apps work fine.

Correct answer Ann Bens

Unistall and use cleanertool

Then reinstall.

See how that goes.

Its basically a Permission glitch, Please try Launch app as Administrator on a PC or Try Launch Hidden Admin Account on PC
1. Open Terminal (With Admin)
2. Type the below command in it:
net user Administrator /active:yes
3. You will find a new Admin account called Administrator in it.
4. Login in this new Acciount

5. Open Premiere Pro and check.
( Hidden Admin account is a kind of Super Admin account with app permissions)

Thanks

Adobe !!!! this is not good and thustworthy.

Have used Adobe software since the first release of Photoshop. It just gets more and more complicated.

Can't belive we have to follow this complicated guideline and use a special Adobe cleaner app!!

What is this? We pay a lot of money for Adobe CC.

Please make an update to Premiere Pro that fixe the issue and please don't spread a lot of file all over my computer when you install things.

I manually deleted all Premiere-files on user/Documents + all files in user/Library/Preferences,

then uninstalled Adobe Premiere Pro 2024,

the installed Adobe Premiere Pro 2024.

All works now — no "Damaged"-dialogue at the start.

Did not use the cleaner app or followed all the steps proposed.

I can confirm that this worked for me. I had missed the cleanertool step. Thanks Ann.
