Hi there,
I'm new to Premiere Pro, but I was editing some footage and when I sharpened it the video speed dropped as if it had been slowed down. How can I sharpen my video without losing the playback speed?

That effect won't have any impact on playback speed, other than perhaps your system not being able to keep up with real time playback.

Try deleting the Media Cache and Media Cache Files.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try putting the clip in its own sequence, place the sequence into the main sequence, and then sharpen in the main sequence.
