Question

Audio and Video out of sync in sequence

Just created a new screen recording video yesterday --- everything was working fine in Premiere -- and today opened filup and the audio and the video are totally out of sync!

I checked the video and the video is fine but it's out of sync once it's imported to premiere.
Yesterday was working fine. This is bizarre. Has anybody else seen this issue? Any ideas for a fix?

Thanks!
Mark

If the footage is variable framerate convert to constant framerate with Handbrake or Shutter Encoder before bringing into Premiere.

Hi Ann!

thanks for your help. I was looking into the handbrake or shutter encoder, first I exported again using media encoder thought that might be the issue since I did a screen recording, however it just seem to have fixed itself.

Evidently, there's just some lag time and after about 20-30 minutes it just re-synced itself again?
All automatically by itself --- seems like this new Premiere is a bit buggy. This is happened to me a couple times now in two different videos.

Thanks again,
Marc

I've seen some crankiness around OBS files today. Any other info, @mark@headTrix? How do I write a bug report?

Sorry for the hassle!

Thanks,
Kevin

It's just this new version of Premiere. It's very buggy. I've noticed the lag time, I've noticed MOGRT's disappearing. I have to restart to so I can see them again. Problems adjusting the transitions, etc.

thanks!
