Question

Audio track automation not reading upon playback

After recording audio automation with in modes write, touch or latch, when I play the sequence, the audio remains on the initial dB level and does not reflect my automation. Upon pause I see the dB level jump to where it should be at that point. When I scroll through the timeline, I can see the dB level change as it should.

I am using 22.5

Hi,

Sorry about that. It sounds like you might be in the wrong automation mode. Have you checked out our user guide? https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/recording-audio-mixes.html#audio_track_mixer_automation_modes

Have a look at the following video tutorial, as well. It may help.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I'm not doing anything different, but it seems to work again. I forgot to mention that I would set the automation mode to read before playback. No idea why it works now
Thanks
