Audio Transcript not working

Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 is reporting “No dialogue found” in the transcript section on clips with perfectly clear, normal speech. The exact same media works fine in 2024. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I have all of those symptoms described. All of them. Thanks for the link. Downgrading to 25.5 worked for me -- something I would not have thought to try, since the previous version I was on was 24 and I jumped to 26.

@Jason30182248hzt8,

As Ann says, we need more info.

What specific PR version are you working in?

This is working correctly for most users.

Do you have any of the other symptoms described here?

If that's not it, a screenshot of your full PR screen with the Text panel/transcript tab, timeline, and program monitor might help.

Great. I wasn’t asking for magic. We’re paying a recurring subscription to Adobe specifically so that core production features don’t randomly collapse. When they do, being redirected to “please file a report” feels uncomfortably close to being billed to beta test.

What really stings here is that this was not an edge case. Stan’s link shows this is demonstrably a known issue in Premiere Pro 2025, which makes a redirection to a generic “how to report a problem” thread neither appropriate nor helpful in this case.
