Autokroma BRAW plugin

Hello, I recently purchased the premium version of the Autokroma BRAW plugin. I've been using the free version on a project I've been editing for a month now, and it worked great so I decided to buy the premium version. When I opened my project again, all my media was offline. I tried to link the media again, and it came up with an error message saying "the importer reported a generic error."

I tried clearing my cache and restarting Premiere, but the same thing happens.

I tried viewing the clips in Autokroma's BRAW Studio, and it comes up with an error message.

When I view the clips in the regular Blackmagic RAW player, they work just fine.

I also tried renaming one of the clips and trying to link the media again in Premiere, but that still didn't work.

I have no idea what to do! I am a bit stressed about it. Does anyone have ideas or advice on what to do?

Thank you! 🙂

As a long-time user of paid Autokroma BRAW Studio, I think you need to uninstall the free version, then install the paid.

At this time I would uninstall both, restart the computer, and install the paid version.

With any Autokroma issues, go to their web page, as they have extensive documentation for about any issues that pop up whether with theirs or even the BlackMagic freebie ... which is garbage on my machines.

And their support is very fast. @Nicolas from Autokroma often pops in here also.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Hi there,

Welcome to the community! Do you have the latest Blackmagic RAW (v 5.0) installed? If not, would you mind trying that to see if it helps?

Thanks,

Sumeet

As this is 3rd party software, might want to contact the vendor.
