Hi Thorgim,

As Ann Bens stated,

Change the following Media Encoder Preferences:

  • Preferences > General > Premiere Pro > Uncheck "Import sequences natively".
  • Preferences > Media > Uncheck "Enable accelerated Intel h.264 decoding"

Queue the export from Premiere Pro by clicking on Queue button in Export window & test.

Help Article: Exporting workflows in Premiere Pro

(or)

Change the Premiere Pro preferences, export directly & test.

Premiere Pro Preferences > Media > Uncheck "Enable accelerated Intel h.264 decoding"

Export & test.

Please let us know the status.

Thanks,

Vidya Sagar.

I too am having the same problems. Using the "Export Media" then to the Queue,  sending it to Media Encoder. This seems to have solved the black frame problems. BUT now the "Burn Captions into Video" are not coming through.

I'm currently working in Premiere Pro 13.1.5 which is not new (V14 has been out for months).

**** This is rediculous that this is even happing. Why should there be any settings that allows black frames in any export, at any codec, at any combination of anything. This is unaceptable. Adobe, Please, Please Please, stop screwing up the basic edit features of Adobe Premiere so we can work without interuptions. This is the main reason I have not upgraded to V14.

Re the captions, try setting AME settings to "import natively." You must do this before queuing from PR. Fixed in newer versions.

YOu can try different things.

Queue instead of Export or v.v.

CBR

In AME turn off: Import sequence natively in the Preferences/General.
