Question

Bug export ?

Hello,

what is this bug in premiere pro 25? It shows me 3 hours to export a 4GB file in 1080P! I've never had that before. It's the same computer, I always work on the same type of file. Usually it takes me 30 minutes. There is no additional effect.

I'm happy to give you the information about my PC but I export every week with the same computer and I've never had so much waiting time even with larger files. I doubt that the problem comes from that. I always use the same export settings: 1080p H264. My video clips are in the same format.

My computer has 64GB of Memory, Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz

Hi @pascal367053547r1q,

Thanks for the reply. It is always helpful to have the specs on your computer and the media you are editing so that the developers can "reproduce" your problem, and then either try to debug or fix the issue. In your case, it does sound your workflow or computer configuration may have changed since you last exported. That might be related to an update with your OS or a GPU driver. Have you installed any new updates related to those things lately? Have you updated Premiere Pro? Let the team know. I hope we can assist you. Sorry for any trouble.

Thanks,
Kevin

What's your hardware? What's the media on the sequence? And exporting to what format/codec?

Without information, guessing at your problem is useless.
