Bug - Media Pending & Timelines with Captions

Pro Version 23.1.0 (Build 86)
Mac OS 13.2 (22D49)
Media is full HD; Apple ProRes 422 Proxy or LT; 4 channels audio
Media drive is USB SS10 (10GBit/s)

Possibly the same issue or related to this.

Timelines with captions tracks don't resolve / update the "media pending" screen. The screen remains even after all media has been located (if that is, in fact, what the Progess panel shows).

Toggling caption track visibility off immediately updates / resolves / eliminates the "media pending" screen. The caption track visibility can then be toggled on and operation proceeds as expected.

Hello @Remote Index,

Thanks for the message. It's been a while since this bug was filed. There was also no interaction on Mary Betsy's bug either. Are you still having this issue? The team might ask for more info from you to reproduce the bug. I hope that's OK.

I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your information.

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin, Thanks for follow up.

Adobe Premiere Pro 23.2.0 (Build 69)
macOS v13.6.4

Issue persists. I've noticed that toggling visibility on tracks with transparent video clips or adjustment layers also resolves the messages (in addition to toggling caption tracks as above).

Note: issue and resolution strategies are 100% reliable, but occur very often.
