Question

Button Editor resets whenever I exit out of Premiere/Button Editor won't save custom settings

I have never had this issue before but I just switched computers and now everytime I go to set up the Button Editor how I'd like it, if I exit it completely resets it. I tried saving it as a workspace but that doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's a bug or just a setting I don't have enabled.

    Using the beta fixes this issue for me. I have not teseted Pr beta for other functionality.

    I am having the same issue, and have been for several weeks now.

     

    Motherboard: ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ac
    Processors: Intel Core i9 9900K 8-Core 3.6GHz (5.0GHz TurboBoost)

    I have this bug in Windows 11. How do I get the "Beta"... and errrr ... is it safe?

    Same issue on two MacBooks.

    M1 Max and M2 Max. Both running latest Premiere Pro version and latest MacOS Version (13.2.1).

    Very annoying, since I am working on a few multi-view projects and every time I reopen the program, I need to put in the multi-view toggle button.

    With my new M2 Max MacBook I installed everything fresh and just created a test project with no files etc. and still get the same issue. Please fix this!

    @Stan Jones, I check this scenario on both windows 10/11 and macOS Monetary and Ventura but I didn’t observe the issue on Latest Build.

    @Ann Bens, have you tried on the Latest build? I Will look around to know more about this issue.

    @Suraj5EBF My video and the comments are as much as I can tell of why it's not working, if I knew why it wasn't working I would have never made this post in the first place. All I know is it was working and then I updated and now it's not working. I am working off a Mac OS (Monterey). This bug appears to be something that happens on some computers but not all, it feels like the bug was just randomly given out.

    For everyone else having this issue, I am using the Beta instead now and my button bar stays after exiting, seems like that's the only fix right now.
