Camera Label option is grayed out on some but not all clips

I'm trying to label my clips so I can properly work with timecode..However, I cannot label all of my clips. All shots come from the same type of camera so it's bizarre that I have access to label some and not all...Plus there are certain shots where it let me label but now the label is grayed out. How can I resolve this?
