Can't Update PP - Err 189 Insufficient Disk Space

Can’t update PP or PP beta, despite every other app including ME updating without issue. I have several hundred gigs of space available and even deleted PP 25 and PP beta 25. Restarted multiple times, signed out and back in to CC, cleared caches, removed another 50gb of files, but nothing seems to work.

I had this issue back in January with 26.0.1 but the post got locked. I did eventually get it to update but there was seemingly no rhyme or reason why all of a sudden it worked.

Interesting…just updated from 15.6 to 15.7 and the updates worked after a couple of tries. Curious as to why this could be, especially since it only affected 2 on the 12 CC apps, both being PP. Although my issue is technically solved, I hope the thread doesn’t get locked immediately as upgrading your OS isn’t always a fix for some.

@Ann Bens Yes I’ve read that. I have plenty of empty space, that’s not the issue. Using CC cleaner is a hell of a lot of hassle for this problem. As I mentioned, all of my other CC apps update perfectly fine. It’s literally just PP and PP beta. If you look at the error log is says that PP needs 38gb of space and only 28gb is available. I actually have 300gb available, so that is totally inaccurate.
