Can you make a logo only show up for certain parts of a clip?

Hi there,

I have a 45 minute video of a podcast where its changing between people as they all talk. I need to overlay a logo only for when the main guy is talking. Is there any way to maybe select a colour range of the main guy and set the picture to only show when he is on screen or something along those lines so i dont have to keep editing the logo in and out. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

You could try scene edit detection to see if that will split out you speakers.

You could put all footage of the main speaker on Track V1, and move all other content to V3 and higher. Then put the logo on V2. Does that help?

I really apprecite your reply but its only one video recording of a zoom call which only shows the person on screen who is talking. I'ts not seperate clips for each talker. Thank you though.

Alas, all manually cut and paste.

I feel like that would be such an easy feature to implement. So is there no shortcut to show a png overlay at certain times without doing it manualy? Also I really appreciate your reply

Thanks
