Cannot Drag & Drop in Premiere Project

Hello,

I am having trouble dragging and dropping files into premiere (not the timeline, the actual project itself) I know using CMD/CTRL + I is the keyboard shortcut, but as someone with multiple files in multiple locations CTRL + I can be time consuming having to navigate around. I've tried updating, uninstalling, rebooting, pretty much everything, at this point I am not sure what else to do. Any help would be appreciated.
