Cannot open projects in premiere 25 or even open premiere 24 at all

  • I attempted to create a project on an external drive on my 2021 M1 iMac that's running Sequoia. During project creation premiere pro 25 crashed. I also downloaded an earlier version of Premier, which won't open at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and removed some plug-ins that I'm no longer using. But I'm still having issues. I have a 2023 MacBook Pro that's also running sequoia that's running premier 25 more or less fine. I cannot figure out what the issue is.

    Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here.  I have seen a few other users with a similar issue.  Is the problem only with new projects or if you open an existing project will that crash it as well.

     

    To help with this issue, we’ll need a few more details. Please see; How do I write a bug report?
