Question

Consolidate stops dead with a Project Manager Error

I'm attempting to consolidate individual clips from a LaCie USB orange drive to my OWC RAID box, using Premiere Pro V 15.0 (Build 61).

The LaCie has been First-Aid scanned successfully. The contents to be consolidated are about a half gig, going to an OWC  RAID which contains 2.5 TB available space.

The error message is attached as a snapshot.

I've tried 3 times, no dice.

My expecation is to have a consolidated project hosting a bunch of clips with 24 frame handles for a 30 minute show.

Best as always,
Loren

Hi @lorenm84878416,

Thanks for the extra info.  It's always an adventure taking over someone else project.

Did you try Sequence or Individual clips with the same result?
With the contents being consolidated being so small (half a gig?), have you tried consolidating to your desktop just to rule out the RAID?
Can you tell if it always get stuck in the same spot/ clip?

Hi, Ralph-

My bad, it's V25 (Build 61.)

I shall certainly refresh my mind for the full Bug Reporting Prorocol in my next missive.

There are several variables at play-- a choice of consolidating Sequence, Indivisual Clips, or Preset, which I don't think applies.

Much thanks. I'm helping the editor, who is less disciplined than I, with files scattered everywhere in the sequence. I've cleaned up the timeline for my post services on the show, but can't seem to get the sequence and its clips off to my RAID!

I hope it's something stupid I've overlooked.

Stand by!

Best as always,
Loren

Hi @lorenm84878416,

Thanks for the message. Welcome to the forums. Can you confirm you are using Premiere Pro v 15?  Or is that a typo, and did you mean v25?

If you have time, please give the team a few more details. See: How do I write a bug report?

I hope we can help you shortly. Sorry for the pain points.
