Creating Multichannel Master for Broadcast - Channels Rearranged on Export
I am working in the most recent version of 2023 on a Mac that's running Monterey. I've been creating 12 track multichannel exports for a show master. We are delivering the multichannel in this order:
- Stereo Full Mix Left
- Stereo Full Mix Right
- Stereo Music & Effects Left (undipped)
- Stereo Music & Effects Right (undipped)
- Stereo Effects/SOT/Nat Sound/B-roll Left
- Stereo Effects/SOT/Nat Sound/B-roll Right
- Stereo Music, Effect & Dialogue (MED or Mix Minus Narration) Left (dipped for narration)
- Stereo Music, Effects & Dialogue (MED or Mix Minus Narration) Right (dipped for narration)
- Stereo Music Left (undipped)
- Stereo Music right (undipped)
- Mono OCD
- Mono Narration
We need to deliver the texted versions with embedded captions but every time I export a sequence with embedded captions Premiere moves my first track to the bottom channel and then the rest of the media up so the exported master tracks are laid out as follows:
- Stereo Full Mix Right
- Stereo Music & Effects Left (undipped)
- Stereo Music & Effects Right (undipped)
- Stereo Effects/SOT/Nat Sound/B-roll Left
- Stereo Effects/SOT/Nat Sound/B-roll Right
- Stereo Music, Effect & Dialogue (MED or Mix Minus Narration) Left (dipped for narration)
- Stereo Music, Effects & Dialogue (MED or Mix Minus Narration) Right (dipped for narration)
- Stereo Music Left (undipped)
- Stereo Music right (undipped)
- Mono OCD
- Mono Narration
- Stereo Full Mix Left
Could someone look into this and comfirm/fix the issue. I've found a workaround but it is very frustrating when you arrange the media exactly how it should be set up but things get thrown off in the export. It's been a huge time sink.
