Custom Sequence / Export Size?

Trying to do a 1280x487 custom size for a Facebook cover video.

My media is 1280x487, my sequence is 1280x487 but when I go to Export > Media (if Encoder opens) it forces output to 1280x486. I've tried matching source and not matching source, unchecking the link icon and I can type in 487 but Premiere sets it back to 486.

Is there a way to truly force this to be 487?

Thanks.

Export is always even numbers. Best is to have a resolution that can be devide by 4 => 488.

NOT A FIX: JUST AN EXPLANATION

1. Choose the H.264 format. It is essential you choose this

1. Under PRESET choose CUSTOM

2. Untick the checkbox next to Width and Height

4. Click the little "chain icon" to allow you to change width and height without them being linked

5. Type your value of 487 into the height

You will notice that once u type 487 no matter what you change profile to e.e 1:1, HD Anamorphic etc it will revert to 486

Exports need to be in even numbers I am afraid.

What made you shoot on such a weird res number like 487. I have never seen this type of ratio being used

Its probably a rip.

If the height or width differs from the settings in the sequence and you dont wont black bars one also needs to crop the video in the source panel of the export settings.

Whats your pixel aspect ratio set to.

R Neil Haugen If the PAR is 1 it will resize according to this and might remove one line of pixels

I do not believe it is possible according to codec standards to set an un-even frame size. Ergo, you will get an even number and never an odd number. Some codecs even require divisibility by 4 or so.
