Defaults Keyboard Shortchuts do not work!

So, I`m trying to use the keyboard shortcuts but they don`t seem to work. 

When I open the keyboard tab, they are not selected at all. Can anyone help?

I tried downloading the .KYS file, but it doesn`t change anything. 

And having to do it all manually isn`t the most apealling chore.

1. I tried reseting all the preferences.

2. Tried reinstalling.

3. Tried older versions.

4. Tried customizing it one by one, but it`s a lot of work.

PLEASE HELP
