Hi,
Delete button is greyed out when trying to delete pauses in transcript.

Its only 1 single video, not multiple videos, so im not sure why I cant delete the pauses, it doesnt give me the option too, I have to manually cut the video instead

Hi @Jed35172425rvwp - Are you still having this issue?  Can you please provide some more information, please see How do I write a bug report?

Just put the clips you want to transcribe in a new sequence, nest it, and it will work

This indicates that transcript was a "static" transcript, which does not support text-based editing.

In future, I recommend transcribing your source files, rather than nesting.

I have the same problem here, though I am transcribing from the sequence's content (Screenshot attached)

@Jed35172425rvwp You may be looking at the source transcript, where you can't delete anything. Cut the clip into a sequence and then with the sequence selected, your Text panel will now be showing the sequence transcript where you can delete things.

Thank you, that works! I just created a new sequence, nested it, and it worked there. But why doesn’t it work in the main source?
