Question

Edited sequence label is invisible, timeline can be opened, but is completely blank

as you can see from the attached photos, my timeline is blank, and my edited sequence where it's name should be is also blank. i can right click it, but choosing the rename option does nothing. i can't left click. playback works, but still my timeline is completely blank.

i've tried opening a previous auto save, deleting cache, reinstalling the app, changing layouts, no luck so far

Why are you using an Auto-Save file, where's the regular project. (put it somewhere else beside the one-drive folder)

It's not a good idea to have your project in a one-drive folder. Also, make sure you have the latest video drive for whatever card you have.

Hi @aarons73164243,

Thanks for the question. I don't believe I've ever experienced what you're describing. I would first see if switching to List View might help you rename the sequence and possibly open it. If that won't work, it's possible you have a corrupt sequence. Do you have any recent backups that you have discretely saved? How about in the Auto Save folder? Anything there you can check? Please let us know. I hope we can help you. We've all been there, for sure. Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

so I was able to click on the sequence while in List View and rename it, but unfortunately that doesn't do much besides that. I tried all the auto saves and they all look like this as well except for the literal first auto save which is before I did any actual editing. so odd. I wasn't terribly far into the project, so it's only a minor annoyance, but if this were to happen while I was halfway or nearly finished, it'd be a different story lol.

maybe also worth noting, I can't export into media encoder, but I can through premiere pro itself. I can also share the project file, but I can't export the entire project through project manager.
